Open Gov Hack Night (organized by Open City)
Come join a group of passionate folks working at the intersection of open government, cities, and technology. This will be an evening of civic tech hacking.
This week, we're having a joint meeting with the Data Potluck group. They pair data scientists with non-profits who need help with data projects.
If you're looking for a project, this could be a great opportunity. If you've already got one, there will be plenty of room for you to do your own thing.
This weekly hack night, organized by civic tech group Open City, is for those who want to:
- get work done on open gov projects
- start a new project, or find one to join (non-coders very welcome!)
- bounce ideas and get help from tech and gov experts
- learn about open data, smart cities, and open gov
There will be food! Bring some to share (that's why it's called Data Potluck). We'll be ordering some, too. $5 donation is much appreciated.
